*FIFTY YEARS of CARING & SHARING!* *This is a description of the many ways that Faith Church* *and it's members attempt to fulfill our Vision and Mission to* *spread the Good News of God's Love.* OUR VISION Our vision for Faith Church is to joyfully glorify God through Jesus Christ who saved us, to become ambassadors of Christ's love, and to become a spiritually strong family of support through relationships in the community. OUR MISSION We will share the Good News of love of Jesus Christ through offering, supporting, and being active in community and congregational programs and activities. FELLOWSHIP GROUPS The church is divided into seven fellowship groups with a Deacon as leader. The Deacon calls each family once each month to keep in touch. The group responds with help in time of need.

PRAYER CHAIN We believe in the power of prayer! Anyone can activate the prayer chain with a phone call request to the church office or the coordinator of the chain. Just state your concern and you will have many people praying for your need. FROGGS Faith's Retired Outstanding Guys and Gals is a group of retired persons that meets monthly at noon on the third Wednesday for fellowship and a good potluck meal. CHURCH BOARDS The church is governed by the Session with seven elders. Each elder is responsible for a major commission. We also have an active group of seven deacons. The deacons are responsible for the physical, emotional, and spiritual care of the congregation. MEN'S BREAKFAST The men's breakfast group meets monthly at 8:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of the month. Volunteers do the cooking, there is a devotion, and a short program. SUNDAY SCHOOL/WORSHIP We have classes for all ages at 9:30 a.m. This is followed by a traditional worship service at 10:45 a.m. Our worship is enhanced with big screen projection of all hymns, responses and prayers. Communion is open to all believers in Christ. PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN PW Circles gather for Bible Study on the first Thursday of the month. There are two circles - morning at 9:30 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. afternoon. A Sewing Circle for lap robes meets on the 2nd Wednesday monthly. Faith Church is a community of caring people committed to Christ. As such, we share our lives together while we attempt to respond to community and world needs. We welcome ALL people to join us in the celebration of Christian life. Preschool for Sale: Faith Presbyterian Church wants to sell its Alpha Preschool program (name, curriculum, equipment, supplies, etc.) to another church, organization or individual. Price negotiable. APS has been a Christian-oriented non-profit part-time academic preschool serving the Raytown area community for many years in 2 locations, and has an excellent reputation for preparing preschoolers for kindergarten.
